ABOUT US Shri Kumareshwar College of Education (SKCE) is situated in the rural backward area of Karnataka in Hangal, Haveri. Dist. Running a Quality Education Institution in an area which is educationally, and economically backward is a challenge in itself, and it makes teaching - learning process really challenging and therefore innovative approaches are often required. Simple things taken for granted in urban areas, becomes a huge challenge in a rural area as majority of the students teachers joining the college are with a rural background and have their own limitations due to missing out on urban education atmosphere. Kannada is the predominantly spoken languages in this area. At SKCE emphasis is also given on sports as we believe that a good brain must be housed in a good body. |
